Where is my data stored?
All account and run data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore). Your data is associated with your account and deleted permanently when you delete your account.
Can I use KOR offline?
GPS tracking works offline — the app records your path locally during a run. However, uploading your run, viewing leaderboards, and syncing data require an internet connection.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently deletes your profile, run history, territory data, and all associated data from our servers.
How does HealthKit integration work?
When you grant HealthKit permission, KOR can read workout sessions recorded by other apps (Garmin, Strava, WHOOP, etc.) and import them as runs. We never write to HealthKit and never share your health data with third parties.
How do I create or join a crew?
Open the Crew tab and tap Create Crew or search for an existing crew to join. Crew creators can manage members, approve join requests, and remove members at any time.
What counts as "territory"?
Territory is the total area (in square meters or km²) covered by your GPS paths. The more streets and paths you run through, the more territory you accumulate. Territory is virtual and represents no real-world property rights.
Can I change my display name?
Yes. Go to Settings → Profile to update your display name and profile picture at any time.
Why does KOR need location access?
Location is required to track your run path in real time and to map the territory you conquer. We only use location data during active runs and for building your territory map. Location data is never sold or shared with advertisers.

1. Introduction
BCD Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the King of Run (KOR) iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using KOR, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and display name as provided by those services. We do not receive or store your Apple or Google passwords.
- GPS Location Data: During active runs, we collect your GPS path to record run routes and compute territory. Location data is linked to your account and stored in Firestore.
- HealthKit Workout Data: With your explicit permission, we read workout sessions from Apple Health (e.g., runs recorded via Garmin, Strava, WHOOP). This data is imported to display your run history in KOR. We do not write to HealthKit.
- Device Information: We collect basic device info (OS version, device model) for debugging and service improvement.
- Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, and crash reports may be collected via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to help us improve the app.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your account (Firebase Auth).
- To store and display your run history, territory data, crew memberships, and leaderboard rankings (Firebase Firestore).
- To power real-time GPS run tracking and territory mapping.
- To import and display workout data from Apple Health (with your permission).
- To analyze app usage and fix bugs (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics).
- To send in-app notifications relevant to your runs, crew activity, and meetups.
4. HealthKit Data
KOR accesses HealthKit data solely to import your run history into the app. HealthKit data is:
- Used only within KOR to display your imported runs.
- Never shared with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
- Never used for advertising or marketing purposes.
- Deleted from our servers when you delete your account.
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → King of Run.
5. Location Data
GPS location is collected during active run sessions to record your route and compute territory coverage. Location data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore and is used only for the territory mapping and leaderboard features of KOR. We do not track your location in the background outside of active run sessions beyond what is necessary for run recording.
6. Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics): Used for authentication, data storage, and analytics. Firebase is subject to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: Used for secure account creation. We receive only the information you authorize during sign-in.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including your profile, run history, territory records, GPS paths, crew memberships, and HealthKit-imported data — is permanently deleted from our servers.
8. Your Rights
- Access: You can view your data within the app at any time.
- Correction: You can update your display name and profile in Settings.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- HealthKit Revocation: Revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings.

9. Children's Privacy
KOR is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via an in-app announcement and update the effective date above. Continued use of KOR after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using King of Run ("KOR," "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BCD Inc.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use KOR. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users in certain regions may be subject to higher age requirements under local law.
3. Account Creation
Accounts are created exclusively via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at mikey9220@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. User Conduct
When using KOR, you agree NOT to:
- Cheat or spoof GPS: Using GPS spoofing, emulators, or any tool that falsifies your location to gain unfair territory or ranking advantages is strictly prohibited.
- Harass other users: Bullying, threatening, or harassing other runners in meetups, crew chats, or any in-app interaction is not allowed.
- Exploit bugs: Deliberately exploiting software bugs to gain unfair advantages. Report bugs to us instead.
- Impersonate others: Using another person's identity, name, or likeness without their consent.
- Violate laws: Using the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws and regulations.
- Scrape or automate: Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the App.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.
5. Territory System
Territory in KOR is entirely virtual. Conquering a neighborhood in the App creates no real-world property rights, ownership claims, or legal interests of any kind. Territory rankings are for competitive entertainment purposes only.
6. Health & Safety Disclaimer
KOR is a fitness tracking and gamification app, not a medical device or health service. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
- Consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program.
- Stop running and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or other symptoms.
- Always obey traffic laws and run safely — your safety is your responsibility.
- BCD Inc. is not liable for any injury, accident, or health event arising from use of the App.
7. Crew Rules
- Crew creators ("Crew Leaders") can manage crew membership, including approving join requests, removing members, and disbanding the crew.
- Crew names and content must be appropriate and not violate these Terms.
- BCD Inc. reserves the right to disband crews that violate these Terms.
8. User-Generated Content (Meetups)
When you create a meetup or post any content in the App, you grant BCD Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the App. You are responsible for ensuring your content is appropriate, accurate, and compliant with applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in KOR — including its name, logo, design, code, and content — belong to BCD Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
10. Termination
BCD Inc. may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
11. Disclaimers
KOR is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BCD Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, personal injury, or property damage — arising out of your use of KOR, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notification. Continued use of KOR after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
